Going away party at Trinity Baptist Church

This was our going away reception at TBC.
We miss you guys so much.
Thanks to everyone who put this on for us and came to wish us well.
These are just a few images.
I now remember why I have put off blogging for so long b/c my upload speed is SO SLOW.
Any-hoo.
Love you guys and miss you lots.
Thanks Tammy for taking these pics.

Thanksgiving Feast at Trinity Baptist Church CDO 2011

My Bigs are in the Busy Bee class this year.
FOUR YEARS OLD
Crazy.
Their last year (potentially) at Trinity Baptist CDO.
They have been coming here since they were babies.
So sad.
This was their Thanksgiving Feast and every year the Four Year Old's put on a short little program.
As you will notice in the photos below, Isaac is not crazy at all about getting up in front of people, but it's just the opposite for Hadleigh.
SHE LOVES to sing and dance and she wants everyone to watch her.
Maybe she'll be a worship leader one day.

My Libby is in the Squeaky Squirrels One Year Old Class.
She loves her Mrs. Christine.
She has grown so much in this class I can't believe it.
And here she is with one sock on and one off.
This is how she rolls.
It's mostly one but not both and this goes for shoes too.

These tables are hilarious to me.
I love them.
All her little buddies.
Jake, Zoe, Brayden and Mason.

Isaac's best little buddy Zeke.
He talks about Zeke all the time.
It's so CUTE!!

My Little Poppy Seed: Baby Dedication

Well, I don't know why I haven't posted about this yet, I am just so behind on everything. Now seems like an appropriate time I guess.

We had Libby's baby dedication on January 09, 2010.
Erik's mom was in from California so I wanted to make sure she was able to be here.
It was lovely.
As always.
Dr. John Petty does a wonderful job.
Our kids know so many John/Jon's that we refer to John Petty as
"PASTOR JOHN"
He loves our kids so much.
I'm so bummed, I think my program got thrown away.
I wanted to post it here.

 OF COURSE, Mema was there!!
Ann (aka:Nana), Leighanne (aka: Zizi) Payten and Madison came from Fort Worth.
Thanks Leighanne for taking pics for us!!
So happy Grandma could be here.

Something TRAGIC happened this past Wednesday.
Our beloved Pastor went "missing" for lack of a better term.
We lost our beloved Pastor.
He was JUST at our house a week ago watching a fight on TV with Erik.
He was JUST holding our baby Libby and feeding her.
He loved our Libby.
We will miss him TERRIBLY.
We are so sad for his sweet family.
Pastor John always ended his sermon with this quote and we will forever be reminded of him when we hear these words:

"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably MORE than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and... in Christ Jesus, throughout all generations, for ever and ever!!!!! AMEN." Ephesians 3:20
